Vent'anni di ESN MoReTwenty years of ESN MoRe

Vent'anni fa qualcuno ha avuto la brillante idea di far incontrare il mondo a Modena e Reggio Emilia. Da allora migliaia di viaggi, aperitivi, cene, Erasmus, amicizie e “ma tu di dove sei?” hanno fatto di ESN MoRe quello che è oggi: una famiglia.

Per festeggiare come si deve torniamo agli anni ruggenti: luci soffuse, velluti, piume, bollicine e musica fino a tardi. Una notte da film in cui tutti saremo protagonisti: Erasmus di oggi e di ieri, volontari e alumni da tutto il network ESN.

Mettete la maschera e lucidate il bastone da passeggio: Enea ed Ettore vi aspettano.

Twenty years ago someone had the brilliant idea of bringing the world to Modena and Reggio Emilia. Since then, thousands of trips, aperitivos, dinners, Erasmus semesters, friendships and “so, where are you from?” have made ESN MoRe what it is today: a family.

To celebrate properly, we are going back to the Roaring Twenties: dim lights, velvet, feathers, bubbles and music until late. A night straight out of a movie where everyone is a star: Erasmus students past and present, volunteers and alumni from all over the ESN network.

Put on your mask and polish your walking cane: Enea and Ettore are waiting for you.

Abiti da sera, smoking, paillettes, frange e bombette. Bretelle, papillon, perle e guanti lunghi sono sempre una buona idea.Evening gowns, tuxedos, sequins, fringes and bowler hats. Braces, bow ties, pearls and long gloves are always a good idea.

A novembre a Modena la sera si scende intorno agli 8 °C, a volte meno: porta un cappotto sopra l'abito da gala. November evenings in Modena drop to around 8 °C, sometimes lower: bring a coat over your gala outfit.

Dalla stazione di ModenaFrom Modena station

Il locale è a circa 4 km dalla stazione (Piazza Dante): 10 minuti in taxi.
Bus SETA linea 1 dalla fermata “Stazione FS” a “Emilia Est bivio Fusco”, poi circa 350 m a piedi. Controlla gli orari serali su setaweb.it.
A piedi sono circa 50 minuti: di sera meglio di no.

The venue is about 4 km from the station (Piazza Dante): 10 minutes by taxi.
SETA bus line 1 from the “Stazione FS” stop to “Emilia Est bivio Fusco”, then about 350 m on foot. Check evening times on setaweb.it.
Walking takes about 50 minutes: not recommended at night.

Da Reggio EmiliaFrom Reggio Emilia

Treno regionale Reggio Emilia → Modena: 12–18 minuti, circa 2 treni all'ora.
Dalla stazione di Modena prosegui in bus o taxi (vedi sopra).
Organizzatevi in gruppo: il ritorno è più facile insieme.

Travel as a group: getting back home is easier together.

Da Bologna e aeroportoFrom Bologna & airport

Bologna Centrale → Modena: treno regionale, circa 30 minuti.
Aeroporto BLQ: Marconi Express fino a Bologna Centrale (7 minuti), poi treno per Modena.
In alternativa ci sono bus diretti aeroporto–Modena e FlixBus Bologna–Modena.

Bologna Centrale → Modena: regional train, about 30 minutes.
BLQ airport: Marconi Express to Bologna Centrale (7 minutes), then a train to Modena.
Alternatively there are direct airport–Modena buses and FlixBus Bologna–Modena.

In autoBy car

Autostrada A1: uscita Modena Sud (circa 12 minuti), poi Via Emilia Est.
Chi guida non beve: scegliete il guidatore designato prima della festa.

A1 motorway: exit Modena Sud (about 12 minutes), then Via Emilia Est.
Whoever drives doesn't drink: pick your designated driver before the party.

Taxi: a fine serata la richiesta è alta, chiama il Radio Taxi con un po' di anticipo o dividete la corsa in gruppo.
Primi treni del mattino: Modena → Bologna C.le alle 04:59, Modena → Reggio Emilia alle 05:22.

Studenti Erasmus e internazionali, volontari ESN di qualsiasi sezione e alumni di ESN MoRe. Basta prenotare il proprio posto.

Come prenoto?How do I book?

Clicca su “Prenota il tuo posto”, scegli se sei un volontario ESN MoRe, un volontario di un'altra sezione ESN o uno studente Erasmus e compila il form dedicato. La quota cambia in base alla categoria.

Click “Book your seat”, choose whether you're an ESN MoRe volunteer, a volunteer from another ESN section or an Erasmus student, and fill in the matching form. The fee depends on your category.

La maschera è davvero obbligatoria?Is the mask really mandatory?

Sì! Va benissimo anche una semplice maschera da Carnevale. Le piume sono facoltative ma caldamente consigliate.

Yes! A simple carnival mask is perfectly fine. Feathers are optional but highly recommended.

Controlla la sezione Come arrivare: trovi taxi e primi treni del mattino. Se vieni in auto, scegli chi guida e non beve.
